"Duncan Does it All" is a special episode that was only released on the "Engines and Escapades" DVD.
Plot
Duncan has to collect straw from the wharf, but wants a change, and is delighted to take Rusty's passengers sightseeing instead. He has to stop at the ruined castle to let them take photos, though, and he is bored. He asks to swap jobs with Skarloey, who accepts, and puffs away, forgetting to leave the coaches. He collects sheep for Skarloey and steams off. He mets Sir Handel at a watertower and offers to collect the merry-go-round for him at the Transfer Yards, but arrives to find Mr. Percival scolding Rusty and Skarloey for muddling everything up. Duncan knows it's his fault and takes the blame. Mr. Percival sends him to sort everything out, and Duncan realises that maybe doing the same thing doesn't have to be boring.

- Thomas, Annie and Clarabel are at the wharf at the beginning of the episode. When Duncan returns several hours later to collect the straw, the three are still there.
