The sheds at Tidmouth are the main engine sheds on Sodor. It was first named in the seventh season.
In the television series, it is a roundhouse with a turntable at the front. The sheds were rebuilt in "Calling All Engines" with a new arcitechural style and an extra berth. In the Railway Series books written by the Reverend W. Awdry, however, it is shown as a shed with three or four rails leading in (the illustrations were inconsistent), but in later books by Christopher Awdry, it is a turntable with ten berths for the engines enclosed in a shed.
It has been one of the main meeting places for the engines, and many events have taken place there, such as the confrontation of Duck and the big engines in "Dirty Work" and the strike of the big engines in "Trouble in the Shed".
